There is no stopping now. Keep moving, that's what I intend to do. Life is here and now, and this is your way of keeping track with all that's happening...

Best in the West

It is best in the West. Well, actually, it is only partially true... Still, I am loving my time here.

I read today that the Laurentians (where I'm from) - especially Tremblant - is becoming quite the hub for celebrities. Michael Douglas & Catherine Zeta-Jones just bought a house there. But really, who cares about them... All this to say, I'm proud of the little corner of the world I call home.

As for my time here, well it is nothing compared to being home. Quite the different beat. I find there is a lot to do here when snow covers the ground. I used to run out of ideas of things to do, places to go, once the snow had taken over. Here, however, it opens so many opportunities!

This past weekend was spent outside even though the thermometer ventured all the ways down to the low -20's... On Sunday, we hiked at Johnston Canyon with an afternoon in the hot springs, followed by a steak dinner with Rachel & Shane.

On Monday, I went skiing at Sunshine Village. We were lucky enough to get a few inches of fresh powder snow covering the ground and we got there early enough to make our tracks for a few hours!

As for this past week, it has been hectic (as have all my weeks been recently!). But still very good! On Wednesday, our C&C group went up Fireside along Highway #1A west of Banff, where we had a bonfire - so hot, it melted my ski pant :( !

Yesterday was the Xmas party for the company I work for (Brewster). We had an awesome time! Rachel came with me, and my male colleagues competitioned for her attention throughout the evening, it was funny to see!

As for today, I wish I had more time to write but I am at work and so cannot spend too much time doing this.

I have some new pictures to post. Will do later today!

Love all,

Annik
