Dinner on the table
As you, my bachelor friends, might understand, it can quite annoying to cook a big meal for yourself. Time consuming and then you have to eat the same thing for a few days until you're done. I end up eating easy to cook stuff, often not even sitting down at all for my meal, eating on the corner of the counter. However, this week has been a bit different. Having Marc, my brother, and Yves, a friend of ours, here for a few days, I get home and food is almost ready to eat. Nice dinners, new recipes, healthy, hearthy meals. Quite enjoyable... I could get used to this! :)
Since my friend Stef got here last Wednesday, I have been quite busy acting as their tour guide. We have gone to Lake Louise, Kananaskis Country, Ski Lake Louise, Sunshine Village, the Banff Gondola, Lake Minnewanka and more. I am filling in their time in the Rockies as much as possible. I want them to remember their week in the mountains...
Tonight, I am at work filling in for a colleague. I was supposed to have it off but had to come in. This was the compromise I had to make in order to get Saturday off. This means I have Sat-Sun-Mon off to spend with Marc & Yves before they leave on Monday.
It promises to be a fun weekend...
Annik
